AB de Villiers has raced to his 20th Test ton in the first Test against West Indies at Centurion. Ever since the lunch break De Villiers has came out with an intent to dominate the bowlers and he has managed to do so with consummate ease. His 20th Test ton has included 14 fours  and six and  came of 138 balls. What will please him further is the fact that it came at a time when the Proteas had their backs to the wall.

Hashim Amla is closing on a hundred as well. The visitors seem to be hanging back and waiting for the second new ball, but if they don’t manage to strike soon, they are likely to be on a leather hunt till late in the day and into tomorrow.
