South Africa opener, Dean Elgar and third down, Faf du Plessis brought up the 150-run stand for the second wicket against West Indies in the second of the three-match Test series at St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth at Boxing-Day on Friday. Elgar contributed 86 while du Plessis contributed 61 and five extras. Both also helped South Africa bring up it’s 200 in the process as Elgar scored his century along with du Plessis who scored hi half-century as well.

Earlier, West Indies had won the toss and elected to field first. South Africa already lead the three-match series by 1-0 after West slumped to a defeat in the first Test at Centurion by an innings and 220 runs.
