South Africa batsman, Faf du Plessis scored his seventh half-century in Test cricket against West Indies in the second of the three-match Test series at St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth at Boxing-Day on Friday. His half-century came off 137 deliveries that included five boundaries and a six with a strike-rate of 40.28.

His last half-century was back in August this year when he scored 98 against Zimbabwe at Harare. Currently, he is batting with his partner, Dean Elgar who is batting on 92 while South Africa are 176 for the loss of a wicket. Earlier, West Indies won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first.
