South Africa vs West Indies 5th ODI at Centurion: Hosts record highest score in 42-over innings

South Africa finished on a score of 361 for the loss of five wickets in the rain-affected fifth One-Day International (ODI) against West Indies at the Supersport Park in Centurion on Wednesday. It was the highest total by a side in ODIs in an innings that lasted 42 overs or less.

Having already conceded the series to South Africa, West Indies looked to make the most out of this encounter. The visitors won the toss and elected to field, with the rain reducing the match to 42 overs per side. Hashim Amla and Rilee Rossouw scored centuries, adding 247 runs for the third wicket.
