South Africa will take on West Indies in the third One-Day International (ODI which will be played at East London on Wednesday. In the second ODI played at Johannesburg West Indies were washed out by a huge margin due to brilliant innings by AB de Villiers who fired 149 runs off just 44 deliveries. AB de Villiers also became the fastest to score a century in the ODIs off just 31 balls breaking the previous record set by Hashim Amla.

Batting first in the second ODI, South Africa piled up 439 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. Hashim Amla and Rilee Rossouw stepped in and posted a 247-run opening stand which was the highest for South Africa in ODIs. Rossouw also scored his first ODI century which Hashim Amla remained unbeaten on 153 which was his highest score in ODIs.
