South African skipper Faf du Plessis has won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in the second T20 at Hambantota on Sunday.

In a way both captains are happy since even Dinesh Chandimal was looking to bowl first and that is what his team will be upto. The Lankans have brought in Mahela Jayawardene and Nuwan Kulasekara in place of Tillakaratne Dilshan and Jeevan Mendis.

Sri Lanka will be under pressure to overcome the South African challenge as a loss at Hambantota would mean the T20 series will be in the visitor’s pocket.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene, Kushal Perera, Kumar Sangakkara(wk), Dinesh Chandimal(c), Lahiru Thirimanne, Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Sachithra Senanayake, Lasith Malinga, Ajantha Mendis

South Africa: Quinton de Kock(wk), Henry Davids, Faf du Plessis(c), AB de Villiers, Jean-Paul Duminy, David Miller, David Wiese, Wayne Parnell, Morne Morkel, Imran Tahir, Lonwabo Tsotsobe
