Indian-born South African cricketer Gulam Bodi apologised on Twitter for making insensitive comment on Jonathan Trott. Trott returned to England after the first Test due to a stress-related illness.

According to an NDTV report, Bodi had tweeted: ‘Hahaha, joke of the day! Trott to go home frm the ashes due to stress illness! Bloody man up n take the heat! Stop running for cover.'”
On Monday, England coach Andy Flower had announced to the media the England No 3 batsman would be returning mid-way from the Ashes tour. Trott was already under criticism for a series of low scores even in the Ashes earlier in the year.
“I don’t feel it’s right that I’m playing knowing that I’m not 100 percent and I cannot currently operate at the level I have done in the past,” Trott said after quitting the tour.
