A probable squad of 30 players has been picked by the Sri Lankan national selectors for the 2015 cricket World Cup. As expected, Angelo Mathews will lead the side. The squad includes spinners Sachitra Senanayake who is pending clearance from the International Cricket Council (ICC) on his bowling action and newcomer Lakshan Sandakan who bowls left-arm chinaman and has been named in the squad for the fourth and fifth One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against England.

The 30 men probables for Sri Lanka are:

Angelo Mathews (c), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Lahiru Thirimanne, Mahela Jayawardene, Upul Tharanga, Dimuth Karunaratne, Ashan Priyanjan, Kithuruwan Vithanage, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Dinesh Chandimal, Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Perera, Rangana Herath, Dilruwan Perera, Seekkuge Prasanna, Ajantha Mendis, Sachithra Senanayake, Jeevan Mendis, Ramith Rambukwella, Tharindu Kaushal, Lakshan Sandakan, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Dhammika Prasad, Shaminda Eranga, Thisara Perera, Farveez Maharoof, Nuwan Pradeep, Lahiru Gamage.
