Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2014: Lasith Malinga, Kusal Perera win best T20I bowler and batsman

Malinga led Sri Lanka to the T20 World Cup victory.

Lasith Malinga and Kusal Perera were named the best Twenty20 International (T20I) bowler and batsman respectively in the Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2014.

Earlier, Niroshan Dickwella was named the Emerging player of the year, while Chamarai Atapattu won the Women’s ODI Award for Best Batter, and Shashikala Siriwardena won for best bowler and best all-rounder. The Lifetime Service award for Cricket went to Premasara Epasinghe, TM Samath, and Bernie Wijesekara. The Umpires Awards for Premier A Panel went to Prageeth Rambukwella, while for the Emerging Panel it was Sarath Kumara, and Susantha Dissanayake for the Sara Panel.
