Nothing seems to be going right for Sri Lanka at the moment. After captain Dinesh Chandimal was ruled out for the second Test against England due to a groin injury, off-spinner Akila Danajaya on Sunday has been reported for suspect bowling action during the first Test which England won by 211 runs.

According to a report in Cricbuzz on Sunday, the 25-year-old Dananjaya, who has been an integral part of the Sri Lanka squad, will not be scrutinised further, but will have to undergo tests within the next 14 days. During the period, Dananjaya is allowed to bowl in international cricket.

Sri Lanka face England in the next Test at Kandy which beings on November 14. The hosts have been grappling with severe management issues after team manager Charith Senanayake tendered his resignation with immediate effect due to issues he had with head coach Chandika Hathurusingha.
