Sri Lanka vs England 2014: Alastair Cook dismissed by Tillakaratne Dilshan

Alastair Cook has been dismissed by Tillakaratne Dilshan in the first One-Day International (ODI) between Sri Lanka and England at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. In the seventh over, England are 51 for one chasing a huge 318. Moeen Ali has moved to a good start.

Cook was dismissed for 10 and it was quite a dramatic innings. In the first over, he was given out twice, but on both occasions the review saved him. However, Dilshan’s arrival brought about his downfall. He was trapped plumb in front for a 17-ball 10.

Earlier in the day, Cook had elected to bowl after a delayed start to the game. Tillakaratne Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene helped Sri Lanka go on to score 317.
