Nov 26, 2014

Moeen Ali has scored his first One-Day International (ODI) century. It has come in the first ODI between England and Sri Lanka at Colombo. He scored the ton off only 72 balls and has thus become the third fastest centurion for England in the format.

England are chasing 318 and are 180 for five in the 28th over. England were going well thanks to Moeen Ali, but have lost wickets at regular intervals. Ravi Bopara is batting with Moeen.

Earlier in the day, Cook had elected to bowl after a delayed start to the game. Tillakaratne Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene helped Sri Lanka go on to score 317.
