Sri Lanka opening batsman, Tillakaratne Dilshan scored his 42nd half-century in ODI cricket against England in the seventh and final ODI at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday. His half-century came off 59 balls that included six boundaries and a six with a strike rate of 84.48.

His last half-century was in the last match itself against England at Pallekele when he scored 68. Currently he is batting with his partner, wicketkeeper-batsman, Kumar Sangakkara who is on 22 as Sri Lanka are 101 for the loss of one with Mahela Jayawardene the man to be dismissed for 28.
