Sri Lanka vs England 2nd ODI Colombo 2014: Match to start at 11:15, 45 overs per side

The Start of the the second One-Day international between Sri Lanka and England at the R Premadasa stadium in Colombo has been rescheduled to 11:15 am. The match has been reduced to 45 overs per side. The delay was caused by Scattered thunderstorms that Colombo has been at the receiving end of. In case the match is not completed today, it contunies from where it stops today. there is a reserve day for each of the seven ODIs, keeping in mind that rain is expected to play a part at this time of the year

Earlier the series got off to an enthralling start with the first ODI in Colombo going right down to the wire. Sri Lanka had set England a hurculean task of chasing 319 int 50 overs to which they responded positively before losing their way in the middle of the innings eventually losing the match by a slender 25 runs margin.
