Earlier, the likes of Herschelle Gibbs, Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh had stunned the world, hitting sixes off every ball of a perfect over. Pahasara moved a step ahead, as he hit a six off the no-ball committed in the very over in which he went all guns blazing.

Pahasara's 89-ball 109 powered his side, FOG Cricket Academy, to a total of 283 for 7 in 36 overs at the Hikkaduwa Sri Sumangala MCC Lords. His exceptional efforts did not fail to catch the attention of Muralitharan, who later praised the cricketer, blessing him for future.

Pahasara's heroics helped FOG Academy win the inaugural season of the tournament organised by Muralitharan and his Foundation Of Goodness, in memory of Ranjan de Silva. Lohan Arosha folllowed up the batting performance with his brilliant spell of 5 for 9 to bundle opponents Kottawa for 72 and FOG won the match by 211 runs. Pahasara was adjudged the Man of the Match.
