With coach Stuart Williams and the two-time T20 World Cup winning captain Darren Sammy in their roster, St Lucia Zouks are certainly one of the teams to watch out for in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2016. The team has a blend of experience and youth in it. The squad consists of recently-retired Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, who can strike the ball a long distance and has a knack of picking wickets when he comes onto bowl as well. The pair of Australia left hander, ‘Mr. Cricket’ Michael Hussey and West Indies batsman Johnson Charles might open the innings for them.

The team also has Andre Fletcher as one of the batsmen. He was also part of the winning West Indies T20 World Cup team in 2016. Apart from him David Miller, the South African hard-hitting batsman who although didn’t have an IPL this time around but is always an explosive player to watch out for. Then the experienced wicket-keeper batsman Denesh Ramdin can come in and contribute for the side.

The side also has Grant Elliot, the New Zealander who had a fabulous World Cup in 2015. Among the bowlers South African pacer, Morne Morkel will be a threat for any team and will be the main bowler for the team. Shane Shillingford is also one of the spinners who might come in handy for captain Sammy. Left-arm pacer Delorn Johnson can also chip-in with wickets for St Lucia Zouks. All in all, they have a team capable of winning the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) this time around.
