International Cricket Council (ICC), has announced team of tournament for T20 Women's World Cup 2016 and Stafanie Taylor from West Indies has been named the captain of the team.

International Cricket Council (ICC), has announced team of tournament for T20 Women’s World Cup 2016 and Stafanie Taylor from West Indies has been named the captain of the team while Deandra Dottin is the only batter from the same team. The rest mix bag of players are from New Zealand, England, Australia while the 12th woman is from Pakistan. West Indies Woman won their maiden T20 Women World Cup after reaching semi-final stage twice and this time winning the match. From the Australia it was just the skipper Meg Lanning who managed to enter the squad. While for New Zealand it was Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine, Rachel Priest and Leigh Kasperek. As for England it is skipper Charlotte Edwards and Anya Shrubsole while South Africa’s Sune Luus makes the cut in the squad. Surprisingly, Pakistan’s Anam Amin has been named the 12th person in the squad. It is just New Zealand with maximum members in the squad while the rest of the teams have ones and twos. It was West Indies and Australia in the final, Australia’s skipper Meg Lanning and their best spinner Megan Schutt were included in the squad, but some all-rounders like Elyse Villani, Ellyse Perry and likes were missed out. West Indies have made the right selection with Stafanie Taylor being announced Player of the Tournament while Deandra Dottin remained the top wicket taker for her team.
