Australian batsman, Steve Smith jumped 30 places to a career high rank of 92 in the ICC ODI batsmen rankings owing to his brilliant performance in the series against Pakistan. He scored a ton and a fifty in the three match series. His bowling counterpart, Mitchell Johnson climbed two to fifth in the ODI bowlers ranking.

At the top of the bowlers list remained Saeed Ajmal despite missing the series due to the suspension from the ICC for illegal bowling action. Sunil Narine who too was reported for the same offence in the recently concluded Champions League T20 follows him, reports the official website of Cricket Australia.

Clint McKay was placed 9th in the bowlers ranking despite being dropped from the Australian squad, followed by Nathan Lyon in 23 and Kane Richardson in 27 while Mitchell Starc was placed at 45.

Explosive batsman, Glenn Maxwell was placed 24th in the ODI batsman ranking as he jumped 10 places after scoring 117 runs in the series against Pakistan. David Warner moved up 40. Aaron Finch unfortunately dropped nine places to 43 due to his dismal performance in the series.

Captain George Bailey remains on 4th as AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla conquered the top two spot respectively.
