Steve Waugh, the former Australian captain said Kevin Pietersen has always been a controversial cricketer. While attending the Salaam Cricket conclave, organised by “Aaj Tak”, he was asked to comment on Pietersen controversial book. In reply Waugh said, “He has sold some books, it would have been boring otherwise (smiles). He is a high-maintenance cricketer who should have been dealt with differently. Over the past few weeks the players have supported the captain instead of KP, so that should tell the same story.”
