Steven Finn grabbed a five-wicket haul for England against Australia on Day Two of the third Ashes 2015 Test at Edgbaston on Thursday. Finn started with the wicket of his namesake Steve Smith, who was out top-edging an attempted pull shot for 8. Michael Clarke was the next to go, edging to Ian Bell at slip for 3. Finn had got rid of both those batsmen in the first innings as well. He followed up with the scalp of Adam Voges, who edged to slip off the very first delivery. Mitchell Marsh survived the hat-trick ball, but was then bowled by a straight ball from Finn for 6. The English pacer completed his fifer when he had Mitchell Johnson get a leading edge off an attempted flick to Ben Stokes for 14. Live Blog: England vs Australia, The Ashes 2015, 3rd Test, Day 2

Earlier, Chris Rogers and Steve Smith fell early as Australia reached 73 for 2 at tea, with Stuart Broad and Finn taking the wickets for England. Broad had Rogers out LBW for 6 and Finn induced a top-edge from Smith, which was caught by Jos Buttler. Warner waged a lone battle, scoring an excellent 62-ball 77 with 11 boundaries, but he received no support whatsoever for as long as he was in the middle. Moeen Ali and Stuart Broad ensured that Mitchell Johnson’s double strike in the first session of Day Two of the third Ashes 2015 Test between England and Australia did not damage them too severely. The duo added an invaluable 87 runs for the eighth wicket after England were in danger of being bowled out for less than 250. Live Scorecard: England vs Australia 2015, 3rd Test at Edgbaston
