India announce ODI squad for New Zealand tour

India‘s squad for the five-match One-Day International series against New Zealand has been announced. There were big surprises in store as Stuart Binny, Ishwar Chand Pandey and Varun Arron has been included. Pandey features in the Test squad as well.
All-rounder Yuvraj Singh was dropped from India’s ODI squad for the series against New Zealand. Aaron replaces Mohit Sharma in Indian ODI squad. Rookie Pandey finds a place in both Test and ODI squads for India’s tour of New Zealand.

The MS Dhoni-led team will start with the ODI series in Napier on January 19, 2014. They then play the next two Tests in Auckland and Wellington.
India lost both the ODI and Test series in their tour to South Africa.
