Anderson misses out this match after he sustained an injury during the third Test at Edbaston. Mark Wood is his replacement and he will share the new ball with Broad. His 300th wicket was Chris Rogers, who registered his first ever duck in his Test career. He soon got rid of Steven Smith, who was dismissed for a six, becoming Broad’s 301st wicket.
