Joe Root and Stuart Broad have taken the Indian bowling to the cleaners after the fall of Chris Jordan on Day Three of the fifth Test. Root is now well past his ton and despite his injury, Broad has batted with spunk and has attacked the bowling. He has fearlessly pulled anything short. England are now 440 for eight and the lead is now 292.

Earlier in the day, Joe Root smashed a century and has helped England move past 400. CHris Jordan had been dismissed as he edged one from Ishant Sharma. But, now with the lead nearing 300, one can say that India have been outbatted. Given their recent form, they may not even get to that score.
