Stuart Broad became the third English bowler to take 500 international wickets. He achieved the milestone during the tri-series final between Australia and England at Perth. By dismissing George Bailey, Broad got his 500th wicket. Ian Botham and James Anderson are the other English bowlers to do it. While Botham has 528 wickets to his name, Anderson is miles ahead with a total of 662. Broad and Anderson have been the spearheads of England’s bowling attack for a few years and heading into the ICC World Cup 2015, they form a dangerous pair. The opposition batsmen have to be wary of their presence as they can be tough on their day.
