One of India‘s cricketing legends, Sunil Gavaskar has recently purchased a 5,000 square feet villa in Goa. The villa is a property of ISPRAVA, and is situated in Assagaon in North Goa. It is a large four-bedroom villa, which is to be built on a private plot, surrounded by greenery. The villa would have sprawling lawns, a flower garden, a large private pool, along with antique furniture, modern appliances and amenities, separate staff quarters, including several sit-outs and gazebos. It seems like Gavaskar is done with his present hometown in Mumbai, and is willing to escape from its over crowdedness. Sunil Gavaskar wants Mankading to be rechristened as Browned

“The Gavaskars were contemplating purchasing a home in Goa. After staying for a weekend at one of our fully furnished homes, Villa Evora, they were sold on the Isprava experience and considered the company a reliable partner,” said the founder and CEO of ISPRAVA, Nibhrant Shah, as reported by mid-day. “Since Isprava’s inception, we have consistently focussed on understanding the needs of India’s cr me de la cr me. With a successful track record of selling our homes to the country’s leading industrialists and celebrities, we have set in place systems to systematically cater what we like to call the ‘Isprava Experience’ to our customers,” he added.

Meanwhile, in a recent television debate, Sunil Gavaskar had opposed the idea of labelling the act of running out a batsman for backing up too far. Gavaskar wants media and fans to rechristen the act as Browned . Gavaskar believed that the term Mankading puts former India cricketer Vinoo Mankad in bad light.
