Sunil Narine dismisses Virat Kohli, Takawale in Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2014

Bangalore have reached a score of 106 for three against Kolkata after 15 overs in the IPL 2014.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have reached a score of 106 for three against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after 15 overs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Virat Kohli and Yogesh Takawale were dismissed by Sunil Narine in the 13th over. Kohli departed for 38 runs and Takawale was dismissed for 45. Yuvraj Singh is batting on four and AB de Villiers is on nine. Bangalore are chasing a massive 196-run target in Match 49 of IPL 2014. Chris Gayle was the first batsman to have been dismissed for six runs.

 

Sunil Narine changed the course of the match in the 13th over. Kohli cut one behind and Morne Morkel moved to his left to take the catch at short third-man. On the last delivery of the over, Takawale inside-edged a wide delivery onto his stumps. Bangalore got to their 100 in the 14th over.

 

Earlier, Kolkata posted a massive total of 195 for four in their 20 overs. Robin Uthappa top-scored with an unbeaten 83 off 51 deliveries. In the process, he became the leading run-scorer in the IPL 2014. Uthappa overtook Glenn Maxwell. Shakib scored a quick-fire 60 off 38 deliveries.
