Sunrisers Hyderabad lost the early wicket of David Warner in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 contest against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. In three overs, Hyderabad are 24 for one. Naman Ojha and Shikhar Dhawan are batting.

The first over was bowled by Morne Morkel and he bowled a short one first up which was pulled by Warner for a four to fine-leg. However, the second ball was full and Warner was caught on the crease. The ball pegged back his off-stump. Naman Ojha came in and hit the last ball of the over through the mid-wicket area for a four.

Naman Ojha then came on to bowl the next over and he troubled Shikhar Dhawan with a few deliveries. Later in the over, Ojha got some leg-byes down the fine-leg for a four. The third over was bowled by Morkel and Dhawan hit one uppishly past point for four. Morkel then bowled one down the leg-side when Ojha came to face and it was away from Uthappa as it went for a four.

Earlier, Kolkata captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and chose to bowl first. Kolkata made no changes to the side but Hyderabad brought in Jason Holder and Srikkanth Aniruddha.
