Kuhn smashed a boundary as Titans registered a eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kuhn too gets into the act with a pull off Dale Steyn for a six. Titans are in a rush to finish off the match early.

Thisara Perera makes a good comeback bowling slower deliveries. Hoever he doesn’t do enough to put pressure on the Titans.

Sunrisers have finally something to cheer about. Henry Davids is dismissed trying to scoop Dale Steyn straight behind the bowler, which is well taken by Darren Sammy. Just two runs of the over.

Every ball seems to headed towards the boundary. Davids hits a dil-scoop off the second delivery which lands beyond the fine-leg boundary. Required rate now is less than four and a half runs per over

Titans are dealing in boundaries and sixes. Davids smacks a boundary off the first ball towards square third-man region. He is complemented well by Jacques Rudolph at the other end. Shoulders have dropped of Sunrisers’ players. 100 comes up without the loss of any any wicket off the fourth ball of the over.

Titans are cruising along easily. Even a flick by Davids lands well beyond the boundary line. He brings up his half-century off just 32 balls.

Rudolph has made his intention to attack spinners clear. He dances down the track to slam a six off JP Duminy. Rudolph does it again with a six in the same direction off the last ball. However, Davids is not looking too comfortable against the slower bowlers.

Henry Davids takes advantage of the powerplay as he constantly hits the ball over the in-field. He smashes the first ball over mid-wicket for a boundary. Davids scores two more boundaries to bring up Titans’ fifty.

Running between the wickets is sharp. They are creating pressure on the bowler and the fieldre with the quick singles. Ishant Sharma, however, is bowling good lines. The lanky fast bowler hits Davids on his helmet with a short delivery and claims a catch of a ball that bounces off the helmet.

The openers look comfortable at the crease, rotating the strike with ease. Running between the wickets too has been good. Davids dances down the track to hit a six off Steyn in the last ball of the over.

Rudolh gets his first boundary as he flashes at a delivery outside off, gets an edge, but there is no second slip. Eight runs scored off Ishant Sharma’s first over.

Davids looks comfortable at the crease. However, Steyn has found his rythym and is troubling Jacques Rudolph.

Karan Sharma opens the bowling for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Titans openers are looking to play themselves in. However, a strong shot over deep extra cover by Davids brings up Titans’ first six of the innings.

It’s Dale Steyn’s over with the bat! Steyn improvises well to strike a six off the first ball of de Lange’s over. he follows it up with the same shot in the same region off the next delivery, but manages just a boundary this time. The third delivery is given a more brutal treatment as he makes room to slog a six over deep mid-wicket. He opens the face again in the fourth delivery for a boundary towards deep point region. However the next two deliveries are wide slog that doesn’t get him any run, but they sneak in a bye off the last delivery.

The over starts with an edge off Dale Steyn’s bat that races away for a boundary. However, they continue to play out dot deliveries, something that isn’t doing their case any good. Titans’ are superlative on the field.

Sunrisers Hyderabad finally break their boundary drought as Karan Sharma hits a delivery outside off-stump off Morne Morkel for a six over square third-man boundary. However, Morkel tests Sharma with a short-pitched delivery that he misses. In a bid, to sneak in a bye, Sunrisers lose Thisara Perera.Sharma smashes a boundary towards the same region off the last ball of the over as well.

A lot rides on Thisara Perera to take the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a good total. Runs are not coming easily for the IPL side. Sammy too perishes in a bid to increase the run-rate. Behardien took a fine catch at long off to dismiss Sammy.

Thisara Perera has started to slog in order to raise the tempo of the innings. Sunrisers have struggled on their way to the second 100 as they bring up their 100. De Lange is bowling fuller and has avoided giving too much room to the batsmen. Duminy perishes in his bid to break the shackles.

The run-rate has dropped from 10 runs an over to less than seven. Boundaries have dried up and Sunrisers are playing out too many dot deliveries for their liking.

Titans are right at the top with another wicket. Biplab Samantray is stumped after being beaten by the flight. Sunrisers lose the advantage given to them by the openers.

Vihari looked set before mistiming a pull and perishing after Henry takes a stunning catch running backwars. He played a straigth shot on the rise for a boundary before getting out. Sunrisers have lost the early advantage

Titans have pulled things back in the last two-three overs. With the odd ball spinning and gripping, Davids has managed to slow things down with both the openers back in the hut. Titans’ fielding is also impressive. Sunrisers score just three runs of the over.

It is good over for the Titans as Wiese manages to dismiss Parthiv Patel with a slower one off the first delivery and then finds an edge off Hanuma Vihari’s bat which falls just short of the first slip.

Henry Davids managed to find a leading edge off Parthiv Patel’s bat, but the ball fell in a safe region. Both the players are dealing in singles. A couple of wides is helping Sunrisers cause.

Dhawan perishes trying to play an upper cut and in the process ended up giving the catch to the third-man. Sunrisers manage to score just four runs off the over.

Parthiv gets into the act now. First he pulls a short delivery behind square and then gets extremely luck when a top-edge flies above the slip cordon to the third man boundary. Runs are coming thick and fast for the Sunrisers here. The have already have 50-plus runs on the board. Parthiv matches Dhawan and slams a six off the final ball of the over. Like Dhawan, this shot too was played off a short delivery. 60 runs have come from the first six overs.

Bad start by Merchant de Lange. With three fielders square of the wicket, he bowls a poor over-pitched delivery which is dispatched to the cover boundary by Dhawan. De Lange comes around the wicket but the result is similar. This time its a short delivery and Dhawan guides it to the boundary behind square. Dhawan goes a step further as he pulls the ball to the squareleg boundary. 14 runs from the over.

Dhawan starts another over with a boundary. He opens the face of his bat to guide the ball over the point region. He followed it up with a boundary through covers. Meanwhile, Parthiv continued to swing-and-miss. 10 runs from the over.

Dhawan welcomes Rowan Richards with a boundary over midwicket. A big shout for a leg before takes place in the next ball but replays suggested there could have been an inside edge. Poor bowling from Richards as he offers width on a platter for Dhawan to cut the ball through the offside to the boundary. There is an air of confidence in Dhawan’s gameplay. Hyderabad would love that to continue.

Morne Morkel comes into the attack. He starts with two deliveries that are moving away from Parthiv Patel with the latter going for a swing and missing. Its a lively wicket, this.Interesting tactics from Morkel as he gets in a fielder at wide gully. He then bowls a bouncer slightly outside the offstump and forces Parthiv to attempt the upper cut. Parthiv goes after it but could only get air. After five dot deliveries, Parthiv lifts one over point for a six.
