Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have a plethora of world’s best fielders. The likes of Dwayne Bravo, Brendon McCullum, Faf Du Plessis, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja are some of the very best in the world.

CSK have been the most consistent side in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and have managed to win matches by displaying exceptional fielding. This season against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they did the same. Having only managed 134 on the board, they won the match by producing a spectacle on the field. KKR, who were 52 for one in five overs, slumped to a defeat.

KKR batsman Suryakumar Yadav tried to play a pull off Mohit Sharma and could’t connect it well. Bravo, fielding at long-on races in and dives forward to just get hold of the low catch. Other than the Trinidadian’s acrobatics and efforts, what was truly commendable was he didn’t get distracted by the fact that Faf du Plessis from long-off too ran-in to take it and there could have been a confusion. Bravo backed himself, gave his 100 percent and reaped the reward.

The catch sparked off a typical Bravo like celebration and KKR were reduced to 76 for four in the 13th over. In fact, Bravo went on to win the man-of-the-match for his match-winning bowling spell and wonderful fielding display.
