The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the petition filed by the Cricket Association of Bihar against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the latter’s verdict to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to November 20.

According to a report in sports.ndtv.com, the Bihar association had referred to the decision as “illegal.” This after accusing N Srinivasan and the BCCI of corruption during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013. The allegation is that by postponing the AGM, the BCCI has breached its own constitution, which clearly states in Rule No 16, “the Annual General Meeting of the Board shall be held every year, but not later than 30th September at such place and time the president may fix.”
