The Supreme Court of India on Wednesday asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to conduct probe against 13 people named in the Mudgal Committee, including N Srinivasan.

PTI reported, “Any probe into allegations made by Mudgal committee against 13 people including N Srinivasan should be done by BCCI itself to maintain its institutional autonomy. Supreme Court allows Sundar Raman to continue as Chief Operating Officer of IPL 7.”

During the hearing of the IPL 2013 spot-fixing and betting scandal on Wednesday,  the apex court said, “We cannot close our eyes after having come to know about the allegations.”

The court also asked the BCCI and Srinivasan to respond on how the probe would be conducted into the allegations.
