Suresh Raina dismissed for a 9-ball 20 in match between Kings Xi Punjab (KXIP)  and Gujarat Lions, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016, match 3 at Mohali. Aaron Finch at the other end has gone past his fifty. Raina looked to play a lofted shot of Marcus Stoinis but was outfoxed by a slower delivery, which he did not pick. Raina’s wicket has brought Dinnesh Karthik to the crease. He will look to build a good partnership with Finch, who is looking set now. He will be key, if GL are to win from here. He has looked at ease at right from the beginning and will have to anchor his innings from here. Live Scorecard: Kings XI Punjab vs Gujarat Lions, IPL 2016, Match 3 at Mohali

They had lost the wicket of Brendon McCullum for a duck in the very first over of the innings. They seemed to have recovered courtesy of an excellent  51-run stand for the second wicket. That has given GL a good platform from where the middle-order can takeover and take the team over the line. Live Cricket Updates Kings XI Punjab vs Gujarat Lions, IPL 2016 Match 3 at Mohali

It was however GL, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. KXIP had scored 161 for 6 in their 20 overs, which is about 15-20 runs short of where they would have liked to have scored. GL are one of the two new teams in this edition of the IPL. The other new team, who played in this edition were the Rising Pune Supergiants, who beat defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the opening match of the tournament. GL will fancy themselves to win the match considering the depth they have in their batting line-up.
