In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 game No 33 played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai bowlers kept the opposition ranks on a tight leash by not giving any room for the batsmen to blaze their way to glory. Even Dwayne Smith, who started well struggled to keep up with the run rate. It was Praveen who swung it both ways to keep Mumbai in hunt.

It was left to Suresh Raina to up the ante and keep them in the game. Even though they are chasing a modest total of 158, they need to play well on a track that is holding up a bit. Raina’s fast hands came into play when he came down the wicket to thump Kieron Pollard over extra cover for a fine boundary. He then was out stumped off the bowling of Pollard. The second decision to go against CSK, as it seemed like he had just about grounded his bat back in the nick of time. Faf du Plessis is the new batsman for them.

They are 60 for the loss of two wickets after the completion of nine overs. Earlier, Praveen got the crucial wicket off McCullum by getting him out lbw, but it was clearly going down the leg-side. Raina came into bat at No 3 position for CSK.
