After losing the early wicket, Suresh Raina was looking in good nick with a flurry of boundaries and kept Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the hunt, chasing Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)’s mammoth score of 231 in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014.With Dwayne Smith departing early, Chennai were desperate to get boundaries and the men in yellow were struggling at the crease. McCullum got a couple with a good punch target down the ground before a good lift over cover.

The sixth over of the Chennai innings by  Sandeep Sharma saw a huge six of Raina’s blade and also spanked a boundary of the next ball. Earlier, Glenn Maxwell‘s 90 powered Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) to a massive 231 for four against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on May 7. It was a bludgeoning innings from the Australian as he struck six fours and eight sixes in his 38-ball innings. David Miller scored a brilliant 32-ball 47. The duo shared a 135-run partnership for the third wicket at a run-rate of 12.65. As all the other bowlers were being carted around, Mohit Sharma did well to pick up two wickets. George Bailey then hammered a 13-ball unbeaten 40 towards the end.
