Shashank Singh and Akhil Herwadkar took their side off to a flyer. Rabada and Abbott were sent for runs all around the park.At the end of the first 6 overs MCA XI had 64 runs on the board with both their openers still firing at the crease. Aaron Phangiso was then brought on by skipper Faf Du Plessis who produced a break-through. Shashank Singh was out for 25(20). JP Duminy joined Herwadkar in the middle, who was going well too. The run-rate came down a bit after Singh s wicket. Herwadkar was then sent back to the pavilion bringing Farhaan Behardien to the wicket.. Kyle Abbott and Rabada both proved to be very costly for South Africa as they went for too many runs in their quota of 4 overs. The last two overs of the innings conceded 28 runs as David Wiese smashed some fours and sixes off his team-mates,along with Armaan Jaffer to get the total upto 188/4 in 20 overs. Steyn and Phangiso were excellent in their tally of overs. Meanwhile, Rilee Rosseau picked up the important wicket of Herwadkar.

South Africa will be counting on the likes of Hashim Amla, star batsman AB De Villiers and David Miller to chase down the mammoth total and continue their winning form. Pravin Tambe's spin will interesting to watch out for when the Proteas come out to bat.
