Tamim Iqbal was dismissed for a score of 132 off 135 balls as Bangladesh lost their third wicket with 245 runs on board against Pakistan during the first game of three-match One-Day International (ODI) series at Mirpur on Friday. Tamim was caught by Mohammad Rizwan off the bowling of Wahab Riaz, as it brought an end to the landmark 178-run partnership, the highest for Bangladesh for any wicket, with Mushfiqur Rahim, who was batting on 80 off 63 balls at the end of 42 overs. Bangladesh earlier won the toss and chose to bat. A major attraction of the game was the return of Saeed Ajmal to international cricket since the ban imposed on him by the International Cricket Cricket (ICC) in September last year. Ajmal conceded two runs off the first over that he bowled in the match, which was the 11th over of the Bangladesh innings. Bangladesh lost the wicket of Soumya Sarkar with 48 runs on board in the 14th over due to a run-out. Mahmudullah, who starred in the recently-concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 with back-to-back tons, was bowled off the bowling of Rahat Ali for a score of five. The duo of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim however, combined forces to put Bangladesh on top. While Tamim brought up his fifth ODI century in style to give a fitting answer to his critics, Rahim scored his 22nd half-century as the pair added 169 runs for the third wicket to guide Bangladesh to 236 for two at the end of 40 overs.
