Team India will bounce back: Gautam Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir on Sunday admitted that Team India failed to play to its full potential during the recently concluded England tour, but insisted that one poor tour doesn t make them a bad side.

Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Gambhir said: “I still feel that one bad tour or one good tour doesn t make you a good or a bad side.”

“We should have played to our potential but sometimes thing don t go your way. But I still believe that India has a lot of potential and great strength to still be number one in Test cricket and do well in one-day cricket,” he added.

Gambhir confirmed that he won t play in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League T20 which starts on Monday.

“I am not allowed right now to take part in any physical activity,” he said.
