Ever wanted to be a part of The Ashes? Well, here is your chance now. The much anticipated Ashes Cricket video game will be released on November 16, a week before the championship goes underway. The video game will be available on platforms such as Playstation 4, XBox and PCs. This would be the first game from the Big Ant Studios.

As the video game will feature both men and women’s Ashes, the cricket enthusiasts can play cricketers of their choice.

To make the players look real, each one was asked to move around the 360-degree field. They had to play a wide variety of shots depending on the height of the ball.

Beth Mooney was ecstatic about the video game and explained how the female cricketers were developed: “It seems a bit weird but (the Ashes Cricket is) definitely a good thing. We were photographed from various angles and the developers did the rest of the work,” she told frasercoastchronicle.com.

The Big Ant Studios chief, Ross Symons, is excited about the launch: “We can’t wait for fans to get their hands on the game. We wanted this game to build on the years of experience that we’ve had in developing cricket games, and we’re thrilled with the results. Playing this game really does feel like being out there on one of Australia’s iconic cricket grounds,” he told cricket.com.au.

The Ashes will kick start from November 23 at The Gabba in Brisbane.
