‘Their courage and bravery…’: Indian cricket fraternity shares heartfelt tribute for armed forces amid tensions with Pakistan

Indian cricket fraternity including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan and many more have come out in support of the country’s armed forces for their strikes on the terror forces in Pakistan,

On Thursday, the Indian armed forces successfully neutralized Pakistan’s attempts to strike its military bases with drones and missiles at a total of 15 places in northern and western regions of the country.

“With every passing moment, with every decision taken I feel extremely proud of our Indian Army, Indian Airforce & Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing tall for our nation’s pride. It’s important for every Indian to be responsible and refrain from spreading or believing any fake news. Stay safe, everyone! #OperationSindoor #JaiHind,” Rohit wrote on X on Friday.

India T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav also took to X and posted a tribute for the Indian armed forces. He thanked them for showing great strength and determination and for their great service at the border.

“Massively proud of our forces and their resilience. You are the reason we stay unharmed, at our homes. Big salute to your strength and determination in protecting us at borders. We thank you. Jai Hind,” Suryakumar wrote on X.

Star India pacer Jasprit Bumrah and former India batter Shikhar Dhawan also didn’t stay behind and posted heartfelt messages for the Indian armed forces for protecting the country at the border.

“Grateful to our armed forces for their courage and bravery. We salute them and remain forever in their debt for everything that they do to keep us safe,” Bumrah wrote on X.

“Respect to our brave hearts for protecting our borders with such strength and stopping the drone attack on Jammu. India stands strong. Jai Hind!,” Dhawan posted on X.
