Tripura were looking to take a first innings lead against Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy match on Wednesday.
Tripura were all out for 282 in the first innings.
Chasing the hosts’ score, Vidarbha were 204 for seven in the first innings at the end of the second day’s play.
Shib Sundar Das scored 45 and Shalav Srivastabha made 37.
For Tripura, Rana Datta and Mani Shankar Murasingh took two wicket each.
Earlier, resuming at the overnight score of 246 for 7, Tripura were bundled out for 281 in their first innings. Udit Patel scored another half century. He made 56 (80 balls, 6 fours, one six).
Opener Rajib Saha and Vinayak Samanta both scored half century on first day.
Pacer Sandeep Singh of Vidarbha took six wickets for 79.(PTI)
