After achieving a historic century against Baroda in the Ranji Trophy, Tushar Deshpande downplayed the significance of the milestone, emphasizing the importance of the team’s victory as Mumbai secured a spot in the semi-finals. Deshpande, however, prioritized the team’s success over personal records, describing the milestone as “materialistic” and expressing happiness at their ability to dominate the game against the opposition.

Kotian echoed Deshpande’s sentiments, highlighting the importance of overcoming nerves and pressure to achieve his first-class century.
