In the ongoing second Test between India and New Zealand at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Kiwi pacers has been showing some excellent bowling from their end on Day 3 of the match. The third day of the match began with New Zealand at 128 for 7. They were expected to get all out soon but thanks comeback man Jeetan Patel, who played an exceptional run a ball knock of 47 runs and helped his side passing the 200 mark. They got all out for 204 and gave India a strong lead of 112 runs. The rest of the three wickets of Kiwi players were taken Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami.
Swing and uneven bounce was seen from the start of the day and Kiwi pacers exploited that factor quite well when they began their bowling. From the very start of India s batting in the second innings, opener Shikhar Dhawan was hurt by couple of deliveries by Trent Boult because of extra bounce but he stood and looking firm but soon after his partner Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara s wicket, he too walked back to pavilion. Dhawan s wicket was taken by Boult through an inswinging delivery which hit his pads.

After Dhawan, rest of India s batting was heavily relied on captain Virat Kohli but he was quite unlucky in doing that. Kohli shuffled across to defend a short delivery from Boult but the ball kept low and there was another lbw followed with an appeal and a raise finger by umpire Richard Kettleborough. At the first glance, it looked that impact of the ball was outside off-stump but later it was proved to be a tight decision by the umpire as 35-45% of the ball could have hit the stumps.
With this brilliant bowling, fans on social media started praising Boult and soon he was on the top trends.
Lucky wicket, but Boult has more than earned it. Do not blame New Zealand batsmen if this makes them pessimistic.#INDvNZ

Apart from Boult, Matt Henry did a brilliant job from the other end by scalping three wickets but the latter surely took two crucial wickets of those player who have the ability the change the game on their own.
