It is quite rare that we see stoppage of play due to ‘poor air quality’. The Delhi Test between India and Sri Lanka witnessed something similar on Day Two during India’s first innings. Sri Lankan players, led by Lahiru Gamage and Suranga Lakmal, protested and kept on interrupting play. This frustrated Kohli and forced him to declare India’s innings.
