South Africa defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the second Test at Rawalpindi on Thursday, leveling the two-match series 1-1. Simon Harmer starred with figures of 6-50, helping the 36-year-old spinner reach the milestone of 1,000 first-class wickets.

Pakistan struggled in their second innings, losing 6 wickets for 44 runs and being bowled out for 138. Chasing a modest target of 68, Aiden Markram scored 42 as South Africa comfortably sealed the win.
