Pakistan cricketer Khalid Latif says he is not surprised by the verbal attack on Virat Kohli by Australian spectators during the Sydney Test match in Australia.

During Pakistan s tour to Australia last year, Latif was physically attacked by an Australian fan, 38-year-old spectator David James Fraser during a One-Day International match against Australia at Perth.

Latif was quoted in Mid Day as saying, “I was told that it was a bet with his colleagues to come to the ground (from the stands) and touch me.

“I was fielding at the boundary and the spectator suddenly came and caught my neck. I fell down. The police and security people caught him thereafter.”

Later the nagging fan was banned for life from entering the stadium for any match after the International Cricket Council (ICC) asked for a detailed report of the incident from Cricket Australia (CA) for the breach of security.
