New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in the third World Cup quarter-final match at the Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in the third World Cup quarter-final match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Vettori returns to the New Zealand side after missing the previous games because of an injury. The Black Caps have included rookie left-arm spinner Luke Woodcock in place of Hamish Bennett

South Africa have brought back AB de Villiers in place of regular wicketkeeper Morne van Wyk. de Villiers is expected to keep wickets for the Proteas. Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel are also back after being rested for the last league game against Bangladesh which means Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Wayne Parnell would be sitting out.
