Alastair Cook, Trent Boult and Younis Khan have been named in the top 20 players of 2015 by Lord’s. Cook has been named as the 11th best by the Lord’s Cricket ground official YouTube page for his outstanding performances in cricket.

Cook has been very productive in Test format for England; he played the longest innings for England when he batted for 774 minutes. He also marshalled his side successfully to a 3-2 series win in the Ashes earlier this year. He also became England’s all time leading run-scorer in Test cricket when he surpassed Graham Gooch.

New Zealand frontline pacer Trent Boult has been named as the 12th best cricketer. Boult has been very effective with the ball in hand; he also reached as the second rank in the ICC One-Day International (ODI) bowling rankings. He was also the joint-highest wicket taker in the 2015 World Cup along with Mitchell Starc for his tally of wickets in the entire tournament. He was also ranked fourth in the ICC Test bowling rankings. His forte is his swing along with menacing pace which has earned him accolades across the globe.

Pakistan’s most consistent and leading Test run-scorer Younis Khan has been ranked the 11th best cricketer. He is the only batsman to have scored five centuries in the fourth innings of a Test match. He alos became the Pakistan’s all time highest run-scorer in Test cricket when he surpassed Javed Miandad’s record. He also scored 50th century in First Class cricket. Younis also achieved the fifth rank in ICC Test batting rankings.

All the three stalwarts has created name for themselves and bailed their team out of crisis on numerous occasions.
