During the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) IPL 9 match on Thursday, two Delhi players took the field for different teams. Ashish Nehra, who has been in a terrific form of late, turned out for SRH and India U-19 star Rishabh Pant turned out for DD.

While Nehra is at the fag end of his career, guiding the youngsters in his side by playing the role of a mentor, Pant is a budding talent playing in his maiden IPL season. It was heartening to see Nehra, a veteran, put his arm around Pant’s shoulder after the game and speak to him. It definitely must be a huge moment for young Pant, who got to hear the words of wisdom from a stalwart of Indian and Delhi cricket.
