The current South African batting set-up that includes the likes of AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, David Miller and Quinton de Kock is one of the best in the world, if not the best. All these batsmen are masters of accumulating runs; be it while setting-up a target or while chasing. In virtually all conditions and against all oppositions, these men have shown their class.

As if the challenges thrown at them by the rival teams are not enough, South African team’s sponsors Audi recently invited them for a batting master-class challenge, which was taken up by the trio of Amla, Duminy and De Kock. The challenge involved accumulating runs by hitting the target placards that were spread over the park and were numbered (3, 4 and 6) with runs the batsman will receive. The biggest challenge was a ultimate one, the 20-run target, which was difficult to hit.

There were four overs among the three to bat and add as many runs as possible by hitting the target. De Kock started the proceedings, while Amla and Duminy followed later in the same order. Did the trio succeed in completing the batting masterclass challenge successfully? Who hit the targets the most and scored most runs among the three? Check the video here to get the answers.
