Video: Jason Holder gives Arijit Singh a run for his money; sings ‘Meri Aashiqui Ab Tum Hi Ho’

If the Indian Premier League (IPL) is marriage of cricket and Bollywood in India, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have to be the most filmy franchise. Co-owned by Bollywood’s badshah Shahrukh Khan and noted actress Juhi Chawla, KKR are the perfect blend of two of India’s most favourite passions.

When the franchise itself has a Bollywood flavour, its cricketers got to imbibe some part of it. West Indies’ ODI captain Jason Holder, who is a part of KKR, recently flaunted his singing skills. But what made it all the more interesting was that the song he sang was a Hindi one.

2013’s musical hit Aashiqui’s title track “Tum Hi Ho”, which was sung by Arijit Singh, became a rage and youth anthem overnight after its release. You heard the Arijit version; now check out the Holder version in this video here:
